Every guide we publish is researched from primary sources: manufacturer specifications, user reviews aggregated across platforms, published studies, and hands-on testing (where available). We don't regurgitate other blogs. We go to the source.

Our focus is practical and budget-conscious. A $200 well-chosen desk beats a $2,000 impulse buy, and our job is to help you find the former.

Our Approach

Most review sites follow the same formula: skim Amazon listings, paraphrase specs, slap on affiliate links, and call it a day. We don't do that. For every guide we publish:

• We read the actual studies. When we cite research on standing desks and health, we've read the journal articles — not just the headlines.
• We aggregate real user reviews across platforms. One 5-star review is noise. Patterns across hundreds of reviews are signal.
• We factor in long-term durability. A desk that's stable on day one and wobbly on day 90 isn't a good deal.
• We're honest about what doesn't matter. Marketing loves to sell features you don't need. We call them out.
